Banks are making progress on the pathway to the net zero by setting a greater number of targets to reduce portfolio emissions. However, banks’ disclosures remain partial and selective, especially on key topics such as financed and facilitated emissions, fossil fuel policies, exposure to high-emission sectors and climate scenario analysis.
During this webinar we share findings from the TPI Centre’s 2023 assessment of 26 banks using our Net Zero Banking Assessment Framework and hear investor and bank perspectives.
Key issues addressed during the webinar include:
Areas where banks are making progress on their path to net zero
Challenges and opportunities banks face in aligning their activities with net zero
How banks are setting targets and assessing their credibility
Examples of good practice in setting decarbonisation strategies
