ASCOR schedule short.png95.72 KB Today, the TPI Global Climate Transition Centre (TPI Centre) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) launches a consultation to gather user feedback on the design of its Assessing Sovereign Climate-related Opportunities and Risks (ASCOR) tool and proposed methodological changes. The tool assesses sovereigns and tracks their progress in the transition to a low-carbon economy. In this public consultation, we are seeking feedbackprimarily from investors, sovereign issuers, multilateral development banks (MDBs) and international financial institutions.
The TPI Centre is an independent source of rigorous research and assessments that are based on publicly available information disclosed by assessed entities. Our assessment frameworks are transparent and accessible via the TPI Centre website.
To ensure that the ASCOR framework remains relevant, it may be reviewed and updated periodically. The Centre operates independently. However, we undertake consultations to share proposed approaches and gather views on potential amendments, when material.
We invite all relevant stakeholders to take part in this new consultation, which runs until 31 January 2026.
